Halters

Halters are like a collar on a dog, they alow you to put a lead rope on your horse and walk him/her.  You can just grab the halter and not have a lead rope if you're walking a short distance. Some people keep halters on horses while they are in turn out others don't. Every body has opinions on which one is right. Some people say it is more natuaral with no halter and you can just bring out a halter when you need your horse.

Lead Ropes

Lead ropes are very cheap and very usefull products. You can use a lead rope for almost anything! Lead ropes are made to connect to a horse's halter and act as a leash. You can use a lead rope to; walk a dog, walk a horse, close a gate, make cross ties, etc. Lead ropes cost $2-$40 depending on the qaulity.

Lunge Lines

Lunge lines are very handy! They are look like very long lead ropes. Lunge lines are used to exersise horses when you may not have time to ride or just to switch things up. They can also be used to brake horses and bond with your horse(s).

Whips & Crops

Whips and crops are used to make the horse pay attention, go faster, go, etc. They should only be used in the hands of professenals/expeirenced riders because wrong use can cause permanent damage, mentally and physically.  Whips are sticks with string/leather like material at the end, you lightly act like you're throwing the stick but keep it in your hand, aiming at the horse. Crops are sticks with leather flaps at the end, almost always used while riding, not off the horse. Whips can be used to make horses go into certain gaits while lunging.

Western Martingales & Training Forks(western tack)

Many horses toss their heads every which way while riding training forks are the sulution to this. If the horse only throws his/her head upward western martingales help a ton! They go where breastplates would go. Training forks connect to the reins and saddle.

Breastplates & English Martingales

(English Tack)

Breastplates are used for english saddles to hold the saddle in place while galloping/cantoring or jumping.  English martingales teach the horse what position to keep his/her head for shows.

Anatomical Girths(English/dressage Tack)

Anatomical girths are an english and dressage girth that is designed to keep saddles from moving forward while doing things like jumps. They are easy to tell apart from other girths because of there curve and shape.
