People use kennels at night and when they leave the housen. It isn't recremended to put your pooch in a kennel every time you aren't home because this becomes a live in a prison cell, the only difference is compared to a kennel prison cells are huge. Never use it for punishment, that could make the dog not like the kennel then they will not want to go in it. Give them a lot affection to show that you love them. Don't force afecction if it barks or pulls away; take a break and try again later, and if it pulls away don't put it back in its kennel.

Food

Kennel Use

Like people, dogs want food too, thou thats probaly obvios. You can find pet bowls and pet food at your local pet store(petco, petsmart,ect.). If your dog has not had all its teeth come in, you might want to consider buying canned food or wetting the food with water until they all have come in. (Give water in the dogs food if your dog doesn't drink as much. They will, 100% sure,  drink that water because it tastes like food.) Teach your dog patience by having them obey the command sit before feeding them. Once they have sat f give them their food. Even if you don't have time to teach your dog tricks, there are some places where professionals teach your dog all you want.

Dogs enjoy being outside to smell new smells, see new sights, and simply to walk. Start by buying a six foot leash and some  bags. You can find these at your local pet store (petco, petsmart, ect.).Let about a 4-5" slack on the leash. To run or jog, hold on to the edge of the leash and run, letting your dog be in front of you. For puppies, keep the dogs closer to you to prevent later pulling and straining on the leash.

Food Dogs Can't Eat

How much do I feed my dog?

Feed them two or three times a day, depending on your dog's size and diet. Puppies need to be fed more.  Be careful though, as puppies meant to be in the wild or hunting will eat more then they need and turn it into fat.

(Adult) Feed your dog 2 cups of food. This varies from dog to dog. The dogs that living in cities with little outside play need less then dogs in wide open spaces. The size of your dog matters too, if it is a 15 pound dog it needs less food then a 115 pound dog.

Are Invisable Fences Perfect?

Many people have invisable fences because they make it so that dogs can run around the whole yard with no fencing, leashes, or kennels. It's great right? Well, to tell you the truth the answer to the qeustion above is no. Invisable fences are NOT perfect, havn't you ever heard the fraise 'nothing's perfect' well the invisable fence has very BIG flaws. Invisable fences keep dogs in your yard by making them too scared to leave. Invisable fences shock the dogs over and over again untell they learn that when they try to leave and go play they get hurt. Dogs are killed every year from getting the invisable fence shock setting set to high, some dogs die from just running away with it turned on, even if it isn't set to high because it shocks and kills important organs such as the heart, brain, etc.  Dogs also go to the vet every year from running away with the invisable fence on. Invisable fences also cost 1000s of dollars so once people get them they will do anything to defend them so they don't look bad. Some people are all for invisable fences and think that they are great so please don't be mean to others with invisable fences.
